Career history

Erik Grandiere grew up in a horse family, and first gained experience during his scholarship as a stud groom and rider in many different studs and yards abroad Europe.

Qualified from Maisons Alfort Veterinary School In 1992, he started working in different fields of the horse industry, breeding, sport and racing, in its natal Normandy region and in different countries. He then gained qualifications in reproduction and orthopaedic.

He joined Chantilly in 1997, and developped there experience in the racing business.

His natural attraction for eventing lead him to Steeple Chase and Hurdle, as well as flat racing. He had the chance to look after horses from yearling stage to Grade I victories.

Having been sollicited as team vet, he kept involve in international competitions as FEI Vet Delegate.

He created Equi Vet Services in 2002, and from reproduction to arthroscopies and fractures, from racing horses to jumpers and eventers, Erik Grandière is now involve in the team supervision, sport perfomance and prepurchase examinations, from local leisure horses to top level performers.
